Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-14
This Cookie Policy explains how csvbanker.com uses cookies and similar local storage technologies. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit.
1. Essential storage (no consent required)
We use the minimum storage needed to operate the site:
- language — remembers your preferred display language (EN/IT/ES), stored in browser localStorage
- theme — remembers your light/dark mode preference, stored in browser localStorage
- Session data for authentication when you log in
These entries are strictly necessary for the site to function as you requested and do not require prior consent under EU ePrivacy rules.
2. Analytics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (property G-9R1XSEJE1S) to measure aggregate traffic and page views. GA4 runs under Google Consent Mode v2 with every storage dimension defaulted to "denied". This means no analytics or advertising cookies are set on your device until you explicitly accept them via the cookie banner. With consent denied, Google only receives "cookieless pings" (coarse, non-identifying signals) that cannot be used to track you across sites.
- If you accept: Google sets _ga and _ga_* cookies (1st party, persistent up to 2 years) to measure aggregate usage.
- If you reject: no cookies are set and no identifiers are sent.
- You can change your choice anytime by clearing your browser storage or via the dedicated link in the footer (when available).
We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or audience remarketing, and we never send Google the contents of uploaded PDFs, account data or bank statement data.
3. Marketing and cross-site tracking
We do NOT use marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell personal data to ad networks.
4. Third-party services
When you use functionality provided by a sub-processor, that sub-processor may set its own cookies:
- Stripe — sets cookies on the checkout page to run fraud prevention and session handling. Only when you start a checkout.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — runs a cookieless bot-protection challenge on the public landing demo uploader. No persistent cookies.
- Google Analytics 4 — see section 2 above.
Refer to each provider's own policy for details.
5. How to manage storage
You can:
- Clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings
- Block cookies in your browser settings (note: this may prevent essential functionality)
- Use browser extensions to block tracking
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
